As well as managing his own caseload, Andrew assists partners on a range of larger projects and judicial reviews, as well as providing specialist healthcare and information law input into Capsticks’ clients’ commercial deals, employment issues, and disputes. In addition, Andrew provides advice to emergency services clients.

Andrew provides his clients with prompt, highly practical, pragmatic advice in densely legislated, policy-rich areas of their work, including in relation to public consultation and the duties of public bodies under the Equality Act 2010.As a member of Capsticks’ Information Law team, Andrew has helped a wide range of bodies (including our social housing clients and regulators) ensure compliance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998; given advice and appeared in Court on matters relating to the common law duty of confidentiality; and supported public authorities responding to requests made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and other legislation.
